Farm Machinery

At Monaghan Farm Machinery, we are a team of experienced professionals servicing Meath and the rest of Ireland with new and second-hand agriculture machines. All of our second-hand feeding equipment have been fully refurbished and rebuilt with high quality parts, ensuring that your tub feeders and paddle feeders runs without trouble for many years to come. We have the knowledge and expertise to make sure that all of our refurbished machines run like new.

Tub Feeders

Tub feeders are a great option for farmers who have a smaller amount of livestock to feed. As well, tub feeders are a great option if you need to be able to manoeuvre around a small piece of land.

Tub feeders use a gearbox to transfer the drive instead of a standard chain and sprocket as these machines run with a lot of power. However, this means that tub feeders are better equipped to handle the heavy strain of chopping silage bales to feed your animals.

Paddle Feeders

Paddle feeders, which are also known as rotary plough feeders, are most useful for the handling of materials that are sluggish, or tend to interlock. The most popular models of paddle feeders usually will feed a good amount of livestock.

Paddle feeders are great to give an even mix, and are usually simpler to use. However, you do need to break up the bales before adding them to the paddle feeders to stop from breaking any parts.

Straw Blowers

Here at Monaghan Farm Machinery, we also sell second hand straw blowers that we have fully refurbished. Straw blowers are great agriculture machines that can help you provide a straw covering on a piece of land much faster than doing it by hand.

We can ensure that our refurbished machines will run like new and trouble free for many years to come.
